Here we go again….  The latest in security breaches concerns Gmail user names and passwords.  Details show that, most likely, the data was not stolen directly from Gmail.  It appears that other sites that had information pertaining to Gmail accounts have been compromised.  The information stolen from these sites was put together and posted on a Russian website.

If you want to check to see if your Gmail password was hacked, go to THIS SITE, click on the USA flag in the upper right corner, type in your email address, and then click on the CHECK IT! button.

Whether your Gmail has been compromised or not, this would be a good time to do two things: 1-change your Gmail password, and 2-turn on 2-factor authentication within Gmail.  For step by step instructions, follow THIS LINK to see how easily this can be done.

Of course, if you have ANY questions, please go to my CONTACT US page and send them my way.  Have a blessed and peaceful day everyone!  And……..Happy Computing!  🙂
