Welcome to our October 2023 Newsletter! Our first topic is The Power of Rebooting: Your Quick Fix for Tech Troubles. One of the first things we do, in most cases, is to restart the devices (laptops, desktops, All-in-Ones, tablets, cell phones, gaming systems…the list goes on). If your computer has gotten slow or locks up…you might want to give it a restart to see if this fixes the problem. We go over when you should shut your computer off as well as when you should give it a restart. It’s a good read that just may fix your problems before you call your IT person.
Our second topic is The True Cost of Free VPN. VPNs can help protect your data from point A to point B. They provide a secure and encrypted connection. But…I’m sure you’ve heard that “you get what you pay for”…that goes for VPNs as well. Our article goes over the main differences between free and paid VPNs.
