Google and Apple do their best to review the thousands of new apps submitted to them on a monthly basis…but…some of the malicious ones do get through. We go over how to review a specific app…and…what you can do to cut down on vulnerabilities. Also…we give you some of the common signs that your phone may have a virus.
For our second topic: Deepfake Voice Scams…what they are and how you can defend against them. These can be very tricky because they can mimic the voice of a family member or friend…AND…they can modify and manipulate words spoken by someone. They usually ask for personal information AND/OR the need to transfer them money. With that said…we give you some of the signs you should look for before you share any sensitive data with someone.
